To the credit of Buster & Punch, each Buster Bulb I tested clocked in remarkably close to the specs stated on the box. That said, if you're just looking for a nice-looking bulb that'll cast evenly dispersed light you can read beneath, look elsewhere, because the Buster Bulb is really more decoration than practical light source. We already have Zen and Bap that do that, while boasting more apt kits and gameplay loops. The effect is patterned, textured light that's pretty striking to look at, and a good fit for modern, high-concept in-home decor. You pick her because you wanna shoot stuff. Just like Reaper, Mei and Hog don’t fit Overwatch’s new ecosystem due to being outdated (Can’t have a tank buster be good at tank busting, can’t have a Tank that’s a pseudo-DPS when there’s no one to pick up the slack etc), she doesn’t fit in because she’s simply not a good support character. It’s the Entire idea of the character that’s flawed. She’s worthless outside that and too strong in teamcomps where eliminating supports is essential or already hard to do. All she brings to the table is the ability to outduel DPSs and pretty much become a lite DPS player when she isn’t doing that. Going back to Illari, I’d argue she’s Fine balance wise right now but an absolute stain on her designer’s portfolio. Soldier is one of the best poke-hitscans in the game with the ability to become oppressive with proper positioning and good easy to use abilities to secure kills Reaper is a tank buster, so on and so forth. So, SO many people bring up Mei, Reaper and Soldier when people argue that Support hybrids have gone too far, but No one thinks of Cryo-Freeze or Lifesteal when you describe them. Some cross over is Fine, but it shouldn’t be the what defines them. Self-sustain/Damage mitigation along with space making was delegated to Tanks Kill potential and Mobility (For the most part) were delegated to DPS Utility, Healing and Mobility (For the most part) to Supports. They’re good at killing stuff), you sign up for support to enable your team, giving you access to Healing and the best utility options in the game in exchange for not loosing power in the fields the two other roles excel at, NOT to kill people. Supports never should’ve been able to solo win DPS duels outside huge outplays or very niche matchups (That’s the point of DPSs. Tanks rightfully needed their power level increased to compensate for having to make up for two people, Supports needed slightly higher survivability to compensate for the disappearance of a beefy player that could look out and soak damage for them to not allow DPSs to go rampant, while receiving tweaks to their kits since they don’t have to prop up/hinder 5 other people but 4. Truth is literally Every role except for DPS received substantial buffs, either direct or indirect, in the shift over to OW2’s 5v5 format. ![]() Not that this is a bad thing mind you, the entire point being that these damage sources have a higher kill potential but need to be properly enabled by good positioning, good aim (Duh) and teamwork, be it a Tank that affords them the space to setup properly or a Support providing them with the resources they lack. This goes without saying that DPS weapons are literally harder to handle compared to the Support’s and require far more setting up than a Kiriko glance or Ana corner peek, while often having lower or comparable effective range save for Snipers and like two or three DPSs that can consistently use projectiles. Literally the equivalent of a DPS main whining they don’t get healing or Tanks whining that they keep getting anti’d and zoned by Platform while their backline is more concerned with numbers rather than employing their brain cells. I’ll do their job and my job… I am so done with dps who I pocket as Bap, Ana, Kiri- and they can’t land jack- so I end up having to damage and get the kill FOR THEM. Supports need the damage considering 90% of the dps mains can’t land a shot to begin with.
